TheaterMania Gold is a New York City based 'papering' club. We are a discreet service whose members fill empty seats for theater, concerts, dance performance, sporting events and other events around the city. Seat-filling is commonly known as "papering the house."
We have discretion agreements with our venues and producers, therefore we do not share current shows/events with non-members, however you can get an idea of some of our current events byclicking here. We have something for everyone: comedies, musicals, plays, lounge and nightclub acts and much, much more! In the past, many shows that have been listed on TheaterMania Gold have won prestigious theater awards on Broadway, Off and Off Off Broadway. Some of our past shows have included: “Chicago,”, "Birthday Candles", “Jersey Boys,”, "Paradise Square", “Rock of Ages,” as well as many varieties of performances at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall and other well-regarded venues.
It sure does! When you join TheaterMania Gold, you have the opportunity to set up a "cross-membership" in London at no extra cost. To begin, please contact your TheaterMania Goldrepresentative gold@theatermania.com and they will begin the process of setting you up with that complimentary membership.
Membership in TheaterMania Gold entitles you to reserve tickets to any of the shows listed at special member prices for as long as supplies last. You choose the date and time from the available list, and with a few clicks, your reservation will be made and your seats will be waiting for you. It’s that easy. (Be sure to follow any specific instructions for the theater or venue. These instructions will be on the detail page of each show and on your confirmation.) In addition TheaterMania Gold Members get access to Subscription Video On Demand content that is available on TheaterMania Streaming.
Membership plans start at $79.99 per year or $9.99 per month. Most shows are complimentary with a small service charge per ticket. That means you can see live performances throughout the year at a price that’s well below that of a single movie ticket!

Our show listings are updated throughout the day as new ticket inventory becomes available. Look out for new features that will allow you to keep informed on our ever-changing offerings. You can always see up-to-the-minute show listings by visiting this website from your computer, tablet or smartphone.
We get this question all the time! Producers of shows view TheaterMania Gold as a great marketing vehicle where they can showcase their production to tastemakers like you. By making these offers available to a limited and exclusive group of people, a production can generate “buzz” and develop word-of-mouth without compromising the sale of full price tickets. So if you see a show that you like, make sure to tell your friends and family about it! Some shows may ask that you fill out a brief survey after viewing a club offering. This, of course, is always optional.
Once you’ve selected your show, date, time and number of tickets and confirmed your order, you’ll receive an online confirmation that you can present at the theater in print or on your smartphone. We will also email a voucher to the email address associated with your account. You can always return to your account to view your upcoming and past reservations, and reprint your voucher if necessary.
Your membership entitles you to see as many shows as you’d like. You can generally see any show offered at least once per year at these special prices. (Some shows may have different limitations.) The number of tickets you may purchase per performance will vary.
Our arrangements with shows’ producers allow us to reveal show listings to paid members only. Great shows are available in TheaterMania Gold daily and you may find that you can surprise yourself or someone else with an unexpected treat more often than you think!

Gift questions
A TheaterMania Gold membership is a great gift for any theater lover! You may purchase gift memberships to any annual plan for others, whether you are a member or not, by choosing “Purchase Gift Membership” from the main menu. At the end of the process you will receive a gift certificate and the option to either print it and give it to your gift recipient yourself, or have it emailed directly to him or her along with a gift message. If you are a member when you purchase your gift, we’ll also put a small “thank-you” credit on your account as soon as your gift recipient completes the signup process.
The gift certificate entitles you to a membership in the club. We securely keep your credit card information on your account so that you can purchase tickets quickly, renew your membership and make good use of that very thoughtful gift!

Yes. We take security very seriously. All TheaterMania Gold communication is transmitted over encrypted. SSL connections, allowing for data to be transmitted without the problems of eavesdropping, data tampering, or message forgery. Your credit card data is encrypted using multi-layered hardware and software encryption methodologies in a segmented network with no public Internet access. This encrypted information is stored in a separate database in a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant facility with strictly limited and monitored access.
